History of Barber County Development
The last several years have seen significant progress in Barber County including: the reorganization of Barber County Development, the formation of Barber United, the formation of the South Barber Area Chamber of Commerce, the passage of a Community Improvement District responsible for millions of dollars in new public infrastructure, and new business development on Main Street in the “Red Brick District” in Medicine Lodge.
